Areas of Interest
My current work focuses on the intersections of ecofeminism, phenomenology, and climate ethics. Primarily I am interested in the question of how phenomenological analysis supports critical ecofeminism and how that relationship can help us re-conceptualize an ecofeminist ethic. Ecofeminist ethics can help us address climate issues and recognize the gendered component of their effects.
Previously I have also worked on the historical and methodological links between William James and Edmund Husserl. This connection, and James’ philosophy in general, is of deep interest to me.
